Walkabout Mini Golf is my latest obsession on Meta Quest. I’ve had it for about a month and have played nearly every day after work. This fun game lets you play virtual miniature golf. You can enjoy 18-hole courses in many places around the world, even in outer space.

Mini Golf Has Never Been So Exciting

The courses are fun and challenging. What I like even more is exploring the virtual environments. I can hop on rafts to navigate through caves and enjoy the beautiful VR scenery.

The gothic course, located in the graveyard and crypt of an eerie old castle, was a delightful surprise. If you tire of the free courses, there are numerous additional ones available for purchase in the app. I recently got the holiday course. I have been having a great time playing miniature golf inside a big Christmas tree.

Meta released their 3S model in October, and it’s been listed at this price ever since. I don’t imagine the price will stay this low forever, so I’d recommend taking advantage of this sale now, before prices go up. Just click on the ad to find it on Amazon.

Exotic Locations and Music

WalkAbout Mini Golf features stunning scenery, accompanied by local sound effects and background music that reflect the location. The Cherry Blossom course offers gorgeous and calming music, making it a perfect choice after a tough day at work. The Holiday Hideaway boasts its own festive soundtrack. The Original Gothic course combines the sounds of falling rain with eerie music.

You can select between 9 and 18 holes and discover lost golf balls to unlock more challenging course options. Alternatively, you can practice your shots on the green or off the pier. This game offers a wide array of options for players.

WalkAbout Mini Golf Info

WalkAbout Mini Golf requires the Meta Quest 2, 3, or 3s Headset and is rated E for Everyone. It is fun for someone in my sixties like me. I truly enjoy it. And because it’s a multiplayer game, it’s also a fantastic to play with my grandchildren.

You can play while standing or sitting, and it’s one of Meta Quest’s top-rated games  – no surprise there.

I got it for free with my Meta Quest Plus subscription. You can also buy it through the shopping app on your Meta Quest Headset.
