Access YouTube Instructional Videos from Inside the App
Vermillion allows you to access YouTube oil painting demos and formal class videos from inside the app. This is great for people like me who have never painted before.
Other Features that Make You Look Good
My favorite feature is the Overlay tool. You can access Meta’s web browser from within the app, select an image, and have it projected onto your canvas to guide your painting. For finer details, simply enlarge the canvas. If you make a mistake, just erase the last stroke and start over.
Vermillion - VR Painting Info
Vermillion – VR Painting requires the Meta Quest 2, 3, or 3s Headset and is rated E for Everyone. It is great for the artistic and those of us who have never picked up a brush. I won’t show you my kitten without the overlay. Even though I’m not very good, It surprised me how much I enjoyed being creative.
Use Vermillion sitting or standing. Choose one of the preset painting studios or the walk-through option to see the room you are in. You can save your favorite paintings and export them as high-resolution images directly from the app. Print your painting on paper or canvas and display it for everyone to admire.
There are in-app purchases available for additional painting classes, but they aren’t required to enjoy Vermillion. And can I say it again… NO CLEAN UP!
