See free virtual reality videos of some of the world’s most beautiful and iconic fountains. From Las Vegas to Dubai, these 360-degree YouTube videos capture the drama of the lights, music, and dancing jets of water. Viewed through a VR headset, you will feel like you’re there.
Free virtual reality water fountain display videos are my second favorite nighttime entertainment after a good fireworks display.
Everyone loves watching dancing fountains. There is something magical about shooting water, bathing in colored lights, and moving in time to music.
There are various fountain shows worldwide. From upscale hotels and amusement parks to city centers and downtown parks, these preprogrammed water ballets have one thing in common: they always attract a crowd. And because they are filmed in 360-degrees, watching them through a Meta Quest Headset feels like watching in person.

The Three Largest Fountain Shows in the World
Dubai Fountain in the United Arab Emirates
The largest water show in the world is in Dubai. It was designed by WET, a company that sculpts water, fire, sound, and light to create works of art that draw millions of visitors every year.
Dubai’s fountain show is built in a man-made lake at the base of the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building. While the waters dance, a colorful light show runs up and down the side of that monolithic skyscraper.
The Bellagio Water Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
Las Vegas, Nevada, is home to The Bellagio Hotel and the second-largest water fountain in the world. Incidentally, WET built this one as well.
The 360-degree video in the playlist combines the drama of the water show with the unique spectacle of a drone show. Multicolored star-like orbs fill the night sky and combine to create beautiful shapes and designs.
Aquanura Water-Show, Kaatsheuvel, Netherlands
If you are in the Netherlands, you can visit the third-largest fountain show in the world. Once again designed by WET, this show is at the heart of Efeling, a fairy-themed amusement park. Each night, a spectacular 15-minute water and music show tells the story of the Frog King.
I literally felt chills run up my spine as I watched it.
What it's Like to Experience a Dancing Water Show in VR?
People who haven’t used a VR headset to watch 360-degree videos always ask me how that experience differs from watching those same videos on a regular computer display. It’s hard to describe the completely immersive experience you get with a VR headset. The best way I can describe it is like watching a sporting event or a concert on TV versus being right there in the stadium or hall.
When using a VR headset, your eyes and ears tell your brain that you are actually watching these dancing waters in person, and your brain believes it.
When I looked for VR videos to include in my playlist collection, I tried to find those with the smoothest transitions. You’d be surprised how many 360-degree videos bounce around because the photographer holding them as they walk. All can result in motion sickness for the viewer.
I also look for clear pictures. This is a bit challenging when trying to film shooting water at night. However, for the most part, I think the videos I’ve gathered are the best of the best when it comes to dancing fountains.
What Other Water Shows Will I See?
In addition to the three water shows mentioned at the beginning, I’ve included water shows from places like Greece, Spain, Manila, Pennsylvania, and Malaysia. Each of these fountains is a unique work of art in layout, movement, and music. And it’s that variety that makes this such a fun playlist.
To add variety, I’ve also included a video of one of Singapore’s world’s largest stationary water fountains. And a unique water and fireworks show perfectly choreographed to a dramatic musical mix, created entirely using the online game Minecraft.
I think you are really going to enjoy these.
